Guidelines to Request for Help/Prayer
- Please send an email with a brief description of your concerns to [email protected] with your name and contact details. If you need to send any files or attachments, please ensure they are in Word (DOCX) or PDF format for our team to assist you effectively.
- You will be contacted by a member of the Prayer Team, who will advise on the next steps.
- If requested, you will need to set an appointment with members of the Prayer Team. During this appointment you will be:
- required to bring one other person to accompany you.
- required to provide details about your experiences and history.
- you will be provided pastoral guidance, and prayers..
- After this session, if your concerns persist, depending on the needs of each case:
- You may be required to visit the Prayer Team again, which may be arranged at regular intervals.
- You will receive a prescription of prayers to strengthen your spiritual life as part of the process, including receiving the sacraments of the Church (e.g., renewing of the Baptismal vows, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Anointing of the Sick) and reading the Word of God.
- You may be referred to a health professional for consultation to help discern any medical or mental health conditions.
- The Prayer Team, on the advisement from health professionals, will assess the situation, pray, and discern the appropriate next steps.
- Confidentiality is assured throughout the process.
